Actéon d'après le petit opéra de chasse de M . A . Charpentier , un opéra que j'aime beaucoup inspiré des métamorphoses d'Ovide et qui met en scène le chasseur Actéon transformé en cerf après avoir surpris Diane et ses soeurs au bain il aura un sort assez funeste puisqu'il sera dévoré par ses propres chiens et là je l'ai représenté au moment ou il se découvre en cerf
