Mid-July, the flower bed on the side of the house looked like that. I don't know if you can see it but at the bottom right of the picture you can see three lighter spots: two concrete pavers partially covered by grass.
One morning I decided to do some weeding, and while removing the clover I realized there were more than two pavers... It was almost like the russian dolls, once one got uncovered, a new one appeared. h Was it an old path or for te rain water? In any case, covered with dirt as it was it made no difference anymore.
I digged a total of 10 pieces.
I reused several pavers but at a different angle, plus a few little blocks found on the other side of the road in the "pile of abandonned pieces". Not only does it delimitate the flower bed better but I think it will also help when it comes to mowing the lawn.
On our way back from our vacation we had the surprise to find the Cosmos blooming.
And same for the sunflower. Sinct hen the flower is so heavy that it started to bend.
An other small sunflower is on its way.
And the bindweed is growing along the mailbox.
