I hadn't sawn anything for myself since early July. My closet was starving, every night its doors would bang with a loud and deep empty sound. Every mornint, I had to struggle to decide which of my too rare clothe I'd wear that day, again. And I am not even speaking about the nightmare it was whenever I had to put different outfits the same day for whatever reason...
oooh, you did notice I was a bit overreacting here? I don't need an excuse to make a Liberty fabric dress? Really? What a relief! I actually didn't really have any excuses... I just wanted it so bad, that dress, that way :-))
The fabric I used is the Wiltshire Liberty; I wanted something really sober, just straight. I found the solution while wearing a top I made last year - before I started this blog - found in October 2009 Burda. I just added some lenght all the way down to the knees... And, you know what? I am happy with the result!
By pure coincidence, a bloggo-friend from the other side of the world used the same pattern recently and made herself this gorgeous top(clic) in a cherry juice coloured jersey. It is to die for...
