Couture plaisir

Depuis que la fabuleuse Katy du fabuleux blog No Big Dill a proposé ce fabuleux tuto de cardigan, je ne vous raconte pas le nombre de secondes, minutes, heures que j'ai passées à en rêver... C'était devenu LE vêtement indispensable qui me manquait. Chaque jour, au moment de m'habiller, je contemplais longuement le contenu trop ténu (ahah) de ma garde-robe en me disant que décidement, je n'avais strictement rien à me mettre...
Since the amazing Katy of the amazing blog No Big Dill posted this amazing tutorial for a cardigan, the seconds, minutes, hours I spent dreaming about it are impossible to count... It had become THE clothing I was missing. Every day, as I was getting ready, I stood there contemplaing the small (ahah) content of my wardrobe thinking that I really had nothing to wear...
Et je ne me trompais pas... comment ai-je pu vivre sans? Sachant surtout que j'avais déjà acheté il y quelques mois ce superbe jersey de laine qui n'attendait que ça... être transformé en mon vêtement préféré de cet hiver...
And I was so right... How have I ever lived without this baby? Knowing also I already had bought that beautiful knitjersey a few months ago and that all it was waiting for was to become my favourite thing to wear this winter...
J'avais presque oublié combien il était agréable aussi de coudre pour soi... heureusement que je n'ai pas pu m'empêcher dernièrement de craquer pour quelques lainages et autres cotons épais zé douillets qui ne demandent qu'à être transformés en jolis zabits pour bibi ;-)
I almost had forgotten how nice it is also to sew for myself... It is a good think after all that, lately, I just couldn't resist buying some nice and thick wool or cotton fabrics that are now only asking to become pretty clothes just for me and I ;-)
Et pour en revenir à ce joli modèle-là, il y a de forts risques que d'autres versions viennent fleurir ma garde-robe, en maille noire agrémentée de fil lurex argenté ou peut-être en simple jersey de coton chocolat glacé... ou les 2... je vous raconterai ;-) Merci, Katy, d'être toujours aussi inspirée et inspirante!
As for this model, there are many chances that I end up making some other versions... with this nice black knit decorated with silver thread or with this simple chocolate ice cream cotton jersey I have... or maybe even both... I'll show you anyway ;-)
