A doted ladybug made out of oilcloth and felt that flies towards her favorite flower made with the leftovers of a coat I never showed you...
A funny fish blowing bubbles in the water. The pattern for the fish can be found on Isastuce's super inspiring blog. You may recognize some of my dresses in the scales. The bubbles are made out of 4 different type of fabric: felt, satin, cotton and tulle.
A tender but shy bunny softy is hiding behind is ears. His belly is filled with plastic strips and makes a funny noise when you tickle him.
Mummy bird is protecting her baby in her large belly pocket. But his biggest dream is to visit a cloud with his butterfly and bee friends.
The super pretty idea for the mummy and baby bird comes from this one blog. Go check it out and you'll want to make dozens of these softies...
On the next page, a soft cat (cut in a little leftover of this super soft wool fabric I used for my coat) plays hide-and-seek with a mouse that has a tail so long it ondulates accross the page. The mouse is made of several layers of felt and its tail is a string I sew with a zigzag.
This is the last page already... a detour via the circus with this funny elephant cut in a thick knit whose ear is hold by a small piece of scratch and this green ball that can be moved up and down a ribbon.
I must confess though that I first thought about making a tutorial as I went but I forgot too often to take pictures or draw sketches... all focused (obsessed) I was on what I was doing... I hope you'll forgive me... and since I know you're kind enough to, I thought I could - later on - try to make real softies with some of these animals and share these with you (and also have gift ideas until little Elsa is 18 ;-))
