Puri est une jeune fille complètement talentueuse qui, du jour au lendemain, a planté son métier de graphiste pour se consacrer à ses créations couturesques... quelques mois plus tard, la voilà à la tête d'un véritable atelier, d'un magasin - un vrai, avec des murs - et a été contactée pour publier un livre de patrons de doudous...
Puri is a completely talented young lady who gave up her job to work full time on her wonderful creations. A few months later, she now runs her very own workshop, a shop - a real one, with walls, and has been contacted to publish a pattern book of softies...
Là où elle devient complètement géniale (hihi), c'est qu'elle a eu la super gentillesse de me l'envoyer son superbe livre rien qu'à elle parce qu'à force que je crie des youhou et des hourras, elle a eu envie de partager son bonheur avec moi... génial, non?
Mais je vous laisse zieuter tranquille ces quelques pages, admirer les photos, les tissus, la tendresse de ses doudous et le joli graphisme...
The best idea she ever had was to so nicely send me a copy of her very own book just because I screamed hurras ans yipee's so loud she felt the urge to share her happiness with me... brilliant idea, isn't it?
So go ahead, flip through it and admire her wonderful photos, fabrics and sweet softy designs...
Vous vous doutez forcément que j'ai eu un mal fou à décider par lequel commencer... et vous l'avez vu, c'est l'éléphant qui a gagné ;-) La forme est tellement simple qu'on peut juste en penser "mais bien sûr, évidement" sauf qu'il fallait y penser ;-) Et puis les croquis sont tellement clairs qu'on en oublie que les explications sont en Indonésien ;-)
D'ailleurs, dans ma lancée, vous constaterez que, forcément, j'en ai fait deux... ben oui, j'avais peur de le voir s'ennuyer, mon joli éléphant fleuri...
You probably guessed how difficult it was for me to pick a first softy to make and, as you might have noticed, I went for the elephant. The shape is so simple that you just can't help but think what a wonderful design... and the pattern is so well made it really isn't a problem that all the explanations are written in Indonesian ;-)
you'll also noticed that I enjoyed making it so much that I made a second one... I was a bit afraid my pretty flowery elephant would get bored, all by itself, for now ;-)
