Apparently, it is a great exercise to know what images you want to convey with your blog and so on. I did this exercise in French the other day and am going to have a try in English. The answers may differ. I tend to think differently when I switch languages…
If Wild Writing was a work of art, it would be Degas’s sculpture: “Little Dancer aged 14.”
If Wild Writing was a woman, it would be Natalie Goldberg.
If Wild Writing was a man, it would be Sean Lennon.
If Wild Writing was a poem, it would be “In Paris With You” by James Fenton.
If Wild Writing was a colour, it would be pale pink, like this blog.
If Wild Writing was a novel, it would be Still by Adam Thorpe.
If Wild Writing was a short story, it would be La maison Tellier by Maupassant.
If Wild Writing was a children’s book, it would be Witches by Colin Hawkins.
If Wild Writing was a fashion designer, it would be Vivienne Westwood.
If Wild Writing was a play, it would be Endgame by Beckett.
If Wild Writing was a band, it would be The Beatles.
If Wild Writing was a song, it would be Glory Box by Portishead.
