I decided to make a top seen in the April 2012 issue of the Burda Magazine (top 115A). It is made with a really light coton coupon, some leftover of ready-made curtains some lady was about to throw away. On the recycling mood, I even recycled some seams as I kept the bottom one for the top's bottom and the side one became the sleeves seams. Speaking about these sleeves, it is because I liked them so much that I decided to make this top and, as usual with Burda, I had the hardest time to understand the pleats explanation. I then made them my own way and, lucky me, they turned out exactly as they should. To embellish the top a little more, I added a bias tape around the collar, then a thin lace trim to both the collar and sleeves seams. I also added a few flowers on the right shoulder. I actually am quite happy with the result and just added the dress based on the same pattern on my
