Mat Elbé et Tarek sont les créateurs du projet From Gotham qui est né lors de leur séjour à New York en octobre 2017.
A partir de cette date, ils ont commencé à penser à un projet artistique ambitieux dans lequel on pourrait associer des expositions en galerie, des publications d’ouvrages et de prints ainsi que des performances en live painting ou dans la rue. Pour ce faire, ils ont convié une dizaine d’artistes provenant d’horizons divers :

Par ailleurs, il se pourrait que dans le cadre d’une grande exposition collective dans un lieu conséquent à Paris ou à Rennes, d’autres artistes les rejoignent dans cette aventure.

Le projet From Gotham commencera en avril 2019 avec une première exposition à la galerie Impermanence à Rennes et continuera jusqu’en avril 2020 mais cela peut évoluer sur le temps selon les propositions qui pourraient advenir. Les sujets qui seront abordés et proposés au public sont les suivants : Gotham (Batman) / Pop art / NYC in and out / icônes new-yorkaises / Histoire et histoire(s)…
Toutes les ouvrages et catalogues seront publiés sous le label Pegasus and Co : un premier livre avec des photographies prises par Mat Elbé et Tarek à New York, un second livre qui aurait la forme du carnet de voyage, un catalogue du projet From Gotham qui concernera tous les artistes, des catalogues le cas échéant pour chacune des expositions selon l’envie de la galerie, des stickers et des prints.
Mat Elbé and Tarek are the creators of the project « From Gotham » which was born during their stay in New York in October 2017.

All books and catalogs will be published under the label Pegasus and Co: a first book with photographs taken by Mat Elbé and Tarek in New York, a second book in the form of the travel diary, a catalog of the Gotham project which will concern all artists, catalogs if necessary for each exhibition according to the desire of the gallery, stickers and prints.
