Obshchestvo stankovykh khudozhnikov = The Society of Easel Artists = Société des artistes de chevalet est un groupe d’artistes initié en 1925 à Moscou par David Shterenberg .
Le mouvement s’insère dans les principes de la réalité soviétique (industrialisation, sports, etc.). Il utilise les techniques de l’expressionnisme européen. Il a existé jusqu’en 1931 . Il a joué un rôle important dans le développement de l’art pictural, sous toutes ses formes, peinture de chevalet, monumentale, graphique , illustrations, affiches,arts décoratifs.
