Objective abstraction – Billet n° 251

The objective abstraction – L’abstraction objective est un mouvement artistique britannique fondé au milieu de l’année 1933. Il dura à peine trois ans. Les principaux participants étaient Graham Bell , William Coldstream , Rodrigo Moynihan, Geoffrey Tibble, Edgar Hubert, Tom Carr.
Une exposition a été organisée en 1934 à la Zwemmer Gallery . Outre les artistes du mouvement elle a accueilli Ivon Hitchens , Victor Pasmore et Ceri Richards qui appartenaient du courant d’abstraction non objective
